Nanded (Mah ) Nov 7 (UNI) The purpose of Bharat Jodo Yatra, which runs from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, is to connect the country. Hatred is being spread in the country at this time. In such a way India Jodo Yatra has been started against breaking India. No one can stop this march till Kashmir said Congress MP Rahul Gandhi while making an appeal after reaching Nanded on Monday night. He said that during this padayatra, I will visit Maharashtra for the next 14 days and work to understand the suffering of the people here.

Party workers and leaders from Telangana entered Degalur in Maharashtra's Nanded district along with Rahul Gandhi carrying thousands of torches on Monday night. Telangana State Congress President Revanth Reddy handed over the tricolor flag to Congress State President Nana Patole as it reaches Maharashtra from Telangana. On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi was congratulated in Maratha style.

Mr Gandhi addressed a crowd of thousands in Degalur. He began his speech with the slogan 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ki Jai'. Mr Gandhi further said that it is a matter of pride that he is starting the padayatra in Maharashtra with the blessings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He said that today there are many burning problems in the country but the central government is not paying attention to them. This government is working only for four or five capitalists. Demonetisation brought the small businesses to a standstill in the country. A gas cylinder of Rs 400 has become Rs 1100 and petrol, diesel has become Rs 100 a liter but Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not saying a word about it.

Mr Gandhi met the idols of Maharashtra, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Basaveshwar, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Mahapurush Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar, Annabhau Sathe and saluted them by garlanding them.

The procession from the comrades of Telangana was received with great enthusiasm and gaiety in Degalur. People from all the streets of Nanded area reached there in huge numbers to welcome Rahul Gandhi.

From Degalur, Rahul Gandhi walked to Vannali to seek the blessings of Gurdwara Yadgar Sahibzade Baba Zorawar Singh Ji Baba Fateh Singhji. Around four thousand workers were present with torches during this time.
